Whether
students just want something to add
to their college resume, need hands-on work experience, or simply love
to help others, the
Red Cross has something fun for everyone.
The
goal of the Red Cross Youth Services program is to provide students with
an introduction to their local Red Cross chapter and to also give students an early
start on their volunteer careers.
More
and more schools are asking their students to become more involved in
community service, giving credit for volunteer hours, and requiring
students to present senior projects where substantial hours of volunteer
work are needed.
Our Red Cross Youth Services program is a great way for youth and young adults to become
involved with their local Red Cross chapter.
Red
Cross staff have information about how to develop a Red Cross
Club in their school and community, provide ideas for service projects
or senior
projects, and much more.
