The role of the Red Cross is to help people begin
the road to recovery by providing assistance for food, shoes, clothing, medication replacement,
and locating a safe place to stay.

Local Red Cross volunteers and staff work with 
each family affected by a disaster to determine
their immediate, emergency needs.

While responding to emergencies at a moment's notice, Red Cross volunteers also help prepare 
our community for future disasters.
