and provides for the most flexible use of resources. 

When you make a contribution to your local American Red Cross Mount Rainier Chapter, it 
will help disaster victims - people in need where you live, fund emergency communications 
and casework assistance for local military families and service members, provide emergency preparedness education, support lifesaving training programs in the community, and so much more. Your gift will be used to bring caring and compassion to people in need. Thank you for your support. 

The American Red Cross is not a government agency. All Red Cross disaster assistance is provided at no cost, thanks to the generosity of people like you. The Red Cross is dedicated to helping people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. We teach local residents how to save lives with our First Aid and CPR training, Babysitter's Training, Pet First Aid, Wilderness Oriented First Aid (WOFA), and HIV/AIDS Prevention Education Education. Our Armed Forces Emergency Services (AFES) department transmits nearly 13 emergency messages every day between local military families and their service member on deployment.
